Opening Ceremony (Thu, 28.09.2017 - 4:00 pm)

The opening ceremony takes place on Thursday, 28.09.2017 starting 4:00 pm in the "Röntgenhörsaal" of TU Ilmenau.

It includes the opening talk given by Prof. Dr. Johanna Stachel with the title „Urknallmaterie im Labor - Studium des Quark-Gluon Plasma in Kollisionen schwerer Atomkerne am LHC“.

Subsequently, there will be snacks and refreshments as well as a poster session in the Curie building of TU Ilmenau.

Parallel to the opening ceremony there will be also a exhibition of the German thermometer museum (see: http://www.thermometermuseum.de/museum.htm).
