Welcome!

This year the 17th Annual German Conference of Women in Physics (Deutsche Physikerinnentagung, DPT) will take place in Heidelberg from October 31st to November 3rd. The DPT is an event of the German Physical Society (Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft, DPG) and of the working group equal opportunity (Aktionskreis Chancengleichheit, AKC). It is hosted, this year, by the University of Heidelberg.

The meeting is organised by the group of physicists of the University of Heidelberg and the Zentrum for Astronomie (ZAH), as well as of the Max-Planck-Institute for Nuclear Physics (Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik, MPIK).
The organisation team invites everyone who is interested in the wide-field of physics to participate in the DPT and is eagerly awaiting the contributions of all female physicists.

• ATTENTION! Due to contructions in Heidelberg there are changes in the public transport. On this page we offer a summary of the most important information. This especially affects the journey to the MPIK!
